The events in our lives

The events in our lives happen in a sequence in time, but in their significance to ourselves, they find their own order.... the continuous thread of revelation. — Eudora Welty

The migraine diary is primary tool of recovery through self-retrospection. I wish it will find a way to patients earlier in their journey not to reach rock bottom.

By getting out your thoughts, feelings and into irrespective of routine migraine attacks, allow yourself to get rid of self-criticism and inner-dialogue that keep spinning around and an internalized perfectionism and keeps you off-guard. Developing a discipline of writing and vocalizing your inner thoughts helps you release this inner block and motivates you to keep distance and observe the thought. Even when there is no motivation, stop toxicity, this censor voice of reason and learn to hear it for the blocking device it is. It leads us on the other side of our fear, of our negativity, of our moods. Writing a migraine diary helps us to take action towards our self by giving voice to our creative powers and sounds that has the ability to transform an outer world. It is so crucial for a migraine patient, because dealing with chronic pain on a daily basis often can put in a position where suffering and migraine triggers deepen the anxiety, stress and become the main focus. It's extremely difficult then to find motivating factors and constructive action towards self recovery in order to break this cycle when the most important part of your body is constantly under attack.

I love meditating, and now doing it with migraine feels like sitting in the middle of the storm. It's beyond exhausting. Having long migraine feels like world is collapsing, and there is nothing you can do. Nothing but another meltdown, opioids, another type of painkillers, and the pain goes on.

You came into my life when least I expected it, and somehow it already feels impossible to imagine it without you. It always comes back to the same necessity - go deep enough and there is a bedrock of truth, however hard.

I hope that one day I will wake up that doesn't feel like after a car crash. Now I keep writing in the moments that are full of pain and that are pain-free. Thanks to everyone who cherish my heart when it is broken, and shows unconditional love for all who we are and for all that we become.
